Homewood officer accused of inapropriate actions

A Homewood police officer is no longer on the force after being accused of inappropriate actions.

An 18-year-old college student says Officer Mike Jackson sent her text messages that left her uncomfortable. He is also accused of turning off his dash cam when he pulled the girl over for a traffic stop.

Jackson is expected to appeal the matter. FOX6 phone calls to Jackson's attorney and the Homewood police chief were not returned.
