Magic City Classic festivities officially kick off today.
The Classic takes place this weekend and people are in line already outside Legion Field waiting overnight to get a tailgating spot. Some people are frustrated they having to wait.
William Lee and his family got there day. They paid more than $200 to get in and are crammed in a field until tomorrow morning. Lee says he just wishes they would let them go ahead and park and get set up.
"It don't make sense, when we could go out there and get our spot, bring an extra vehicle, which we get a sticker for two vehicles, and we could go where we want to go, like we need supplies and stuff, running to get a generator, we need to get gas, get food instead of sitting around cooking in the RV and stuff," said Lee.
A member of the Park Board points out they are opening the field a day earlier than last year.
