OYSTER FESTIVAL - On Saturday, November 3, 2012
expect fun, food and live music at The Hangout's 5th annual Oyster Cook-off
with football on the big screen, fresh gulf oysters, and a mouth watering beer
garden featuring craft beers and cocktails. Join us on the beach and watch
teams from around the state compete to see who wins best oyster bragging rights
for the entire year along with cash and prizes! The event is free to the public
and tasting tickets can be purchased. The fun starts at 11am. The oysters are
provided to the teams to prepare three ways: Oysters Rockefeller, Cajun Oysters
and Create-Your-Own Raw. The entries will be judged on creativity, presentation
and flavor. The official judging will be decided by a panel of industry
professionals. Patrons of the event will also be deciding the winner for the
People's Choice category. Teams are able to win in each category, and can also
compete in the oyster shucking contest. This is one Saturday at the Hangout

JEH JEH LIVE - It's Football Friday and that means High School Football teams
across the state go head to head on the field tonight! Catch all the excitement

CLARE LIVE - The 71st Annual State Farm Magic City Classic presented by
Coca-Cola kicks off this weekend. Alabama A&M University and Alabama State
University will battle it out for a guaranteed spot in the SWAC Championship.
The largest black college football game in the country will take place at
Legion Field on Saturday, October 27th. Reserved tickets are $25, while general
admission tickets are only $20 and are still available for purchase through
TicketMaster at 800-745-3000 or online at http://www.themagiccityclassic.com.
Tickets can also be purchased at Legion Field or AAMU and ASU ticket offices,
along with TicketMaster outlets. Fans can also enjoy the McDonald's Magic City
Classic Parade and the Coors Light Tailgate Party. Parking lots open at 7am,
while Legion Field gates open at 12:30pm on gameday. Kick-off is at 2:30pm and
the much anticipated halftimewill feature the Marching Hornets and the Marching
Maroon and White. The State Farm Magic City Classic free shuttle continues to

ATROX GUEST - Atrox Factory is up and running everyday now through Halloween.
Most nights the Factory Tour is $18 and on weekends when special guests are on
hand there is also a $5 fee at the gate. Atrox does not charge for parking.
They except cash only. Arrive early and expect long lines - especially on the
weekends. It runs from 6:30pm-midnight on Friday and Saturday, 6:30-10:30pm on
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights and 6:30pm-11pm on Wednesday (Halloween

BARGAIN MOM - Christie Dedman - Birmingham's Bargain Mom, joined us with some

this weekend. The Galleria will have a free Monster Mash Dance Party Saturday

There will be trick or treating at stores with pumpkin signs on their doors,

Steakhouse is offering free kids meals on Halloween for kids in costumes, plus
