Birmingham area:
Boo at the Zoo: Family friendly events at the Birmingham Zoo. Oct. 31 from 5-9 p.m. $8 plus ride tickets.
Homewood Police Trick-or-Treating: Free; 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct 31 at police headquarters

Edgewood: Trick-or-treating on West Glenwood Drive. The street will be transformed for one-way traffic to help the flow of trick-or-treaters.
Shades Mountain Independent Church Trunk or Treat event (Hoover): Free; Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.
Hoover area:
Hunter Street Baptist Church Trunk or Treet: Hotdog dinner begins at 4:30 p.m. Trunks will open at 5:30 p.m. Kids are invited to wear a non-scary costume and collect candy from 5:30 to 7 p.m. http://www.hunterstreet.org/news/news.php
Birmingham Southern College Halloween on the Hilltop: from 5-7 p.m. on the residence hall quad. Family friendly games, candy giveaways, face painting and haunted house. BSC will also hold a family-friendly concert at 9:30 p.m. in Hill Recital Hall.
North Jefferson:

Walker County:
Jasper: Walker County Courthouse trick-or-treating from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Jasper Police Department trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m.
Jasper Fire Department trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m.
Shelby County:
Light the Night Community Festival (Shelby County): Free; Oct. 31 from 5-9 p.m. at the Winn-Dixie on Valleydale and Caldwell Mill roads. Inflatables, games live music, candy and other food.
Clay County:
Trunk or Treat Extravaganza: Free, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. Located in Parking Lot G of Central High School of Clay County.
Statewide:
Chipotle Boorito: Dress up for a cause! From 4 p.m. until close Oct. 31, Chipotle will offer $2 burritos, bowls, salads and orders of tacos to all costume-wearing customers. All proceeds up to $1 million will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, which helps farmers grow and raise sustainable food sources.
