Birmingham police are investigating a homicide that happened in the 4100 block of 49th Court North in east Birmingham.BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Birmingham police detectives are investigating a homicide on the city's east side. Officers say they responded to a man down in the 4100 block of 49th Court North Saturday morning around 10 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers observed 69-year-old Felix McKinney of Birmingham unresponsive and lying on the floor inside his residence. Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded and pronounced him dead. Evidence located inside the residence has prompted investigators to classify this case as a homicide.
So far, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
