A 19-year-old man from Tuscaloosa has been arrested on sodomy charges for a case involving a 14-year-old male.
Tuscaloosa police arrested Corey Rashadi Ruffins on Tuesday, Nov. 13 and charged him with two counts of second degree sodomy. The charges arose after a missing person report was filed earlier in November for the 14-year-old victim.
"The juvenile returned home and while investigators were questioning him and his family they learned about the contact between him and the suspect," Sgt. Brent Blankley with TPD said in a release.
Officers picked up Ruffins and while questioning him at the police department found probable cause to arrest him on the sodomy charges. Ruffins is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
