Alabaster Dairy Queen helps family with preemie baby

ALABASTER, AL (WBRC) -

Dairy Queen is pitching in to help the family of a premature baby deal with some of their growing expenses.

We told you the story of Halle Scott Windham last week. She was born premature seven months ago with under developed lungs.

Halle remains on a ventilator at Children's of Alabama and has yet to go home with her parents.

Part of the proceeds from sales at the Dairy Queen at the Alabaster Promenade will go to help the family.

The event last until 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19.
