John's Steak, Nabeel's Cafe
4 NY strip steaks
8 lemons (halved)
1 tsp. pepper
1 stick butter
4 tbsp salt
6 tbsp oregano
Mix oregano, salt & pepper in bowl. Rub mix on each side of steak. Place steaks on med. hot grill. Turn steaks frequently (approx. every 2 min.) Once or twice, spread butter on steaks as you turn them. Be sure to squeeze lemon throughly each time the steaks are turned over. Grill steaks until meat is cooked to desired temp. Remove steaks to a large platter & place all of squeezed lemons on meat & serve hot.
