Suspects charged in Birmingham business robbery

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham police have charged two men with robbing a Wireless Expressions store on Tuesday.

Suspects Raymond Allen, 40, and Ricco Lewis, 39, are being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a charge of robbery. Police say they robbed the Wireless Expressions store located on Crestwood Boulevard Tuesday and fired shots during the robbery. No one was hurt during the incident.

Police caught up with the pair soon after the robbery in the parking deck of Trinity Medical Center on Montclair Road.

The bond for each suspect is set at $150,000.
