Editorial: Fox 6 Gifts for Kids Salvation Army Tree

The following is an editorial from FOX6 WBRC-TV General Manager Lou Kirchen, first aired on Tuesday, December 4, 2012:

Sometimes we make commitments with the greatest of intentions and then get busy. This is just a reminder that this Saturday, December 8 is the deadline to bring back the gifts purchased for the Fox 6 Gifts for Kids/Salvation Army Angel Tree children. If you have adopted an Angel, your purchased gift will insure they have a Merry Christmas.

So many of you have been generous this year…ninety-one percent or 6,744 of the Angel's have been adopted. Gifts are needed for a remaining 647 children. Our hope is that all of these Angels will receive gifts. If you can help, please do. Thanks to everyone for making the Fox 6 Gifts for Kids/Salvation Army Angel Tree program so successful.
