The fire is at a business near 1st Avenue North and 29th Street South. As of 3 p.m., smoke was still coming out of the building.
Fire officials say that the shop caught fire when some leaking oil ignited as the owner was trying to repair a car. Because of the building's contents, the EPA was called to the scene.
No one was injured but the shop sustained serious damage and a warehouse next door has smoke damage.
