Police charge teen in the slaying of another teen in Ensley

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham police have charged a 19-year-old with murdering another teen in Ensley in September.

Stephan Calhoun, of Birmingham, is charged in the murder of Devontae Jones, 18, also of Birmingham.

Police found Jones suffering from a gunshot wound on the side of 25th Street in Ensley around 11 p.m. Sept. 19. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Calhoun is being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail.
