Oxford Middle School principal injured in vehicle accident listed in fair condition

OXFORD, AL (WBRC) -

Oxford BOE officials have confirmed that the principal of Oxford Middle School was injured in a vehicle accident in Springville.

Kyle McCartney was injured Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 11. McCartney's car and another car hit head on.

He was originally listed in critical condition on Friday, but UAB says he was in "fair" condition on Monday, Dec. 10.

Three people were injured in the accident and transported to local hospitals. There is no word on the others involved.
