Homicide possibly linked to robbery

Birmingham police are investigating a homicide that happened around eleven Sunday night on the 3300 block of Avenue H.

19-year-old Ryan Michael Jordan was killed. Police found his body after responding to a call of a person shot. The shooter called police and surrendered.

Investigators are looking into the possibility the victim may have been committing a robbery at the time of the shooting.
