Birmingham police are now investigating their fifth homicide in four days.
The most recent one happened last night, around ten o'clock on Ellington Street. Officers arrived at the scene investigating a call of a person shot. They found the victim, dead in a front yard.
The victim's' name has not been released. No arrests have been made.
