
Source: MGN OnlineFriends and family members of a man found shot to death Saturday morning are holding a vigil for him this evening.
The vigil for Arlando Pritchett, 38, starts at 5 p.m. Thursday at Cotton Avenue and Center Street, near where he was shot.
Birmingham police say the shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2nd Street Southwest and Cotton Avenue. Pritchett was taken to UAB, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the victim got into an altercation with a cab driver just before the shooting occurred. Birmingham officers took the cab driver into custody, but no charges have been announced.
