BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
A March 25 trial date has been set for two Birmingham police officers and a third man accused of setting fires to homes in west Birmingham.
Officer Jason Arnold and officer Curtis Thornton were both indicted on second degree arson charges. Another suspect, Anthony Weaver, has also been indicted on an arson charge and a burglary charge.
Police say all three men are connected with a string of homes that were set on fire in May.
Jefferson County Circuit Judge Clyde Jones will oversee the case.
