WALKER COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

A Walker County church was vandalized after being broken into on Monday night.

The pastor at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church says vandals shattered the glass on the front door. They went inside and vandalized the kitchen, sunday school classrooms, and the walls.

Luckily, the suspects did not take the Christmas donation jar or the expensive sound equipment. Pastor John Pinion says he will be praying for the vandals.

Authorities investigating arson at the nearby Jasper Alliance Church believe that the arson and the vandalism at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church are related. If you have information about the church break-in, you are asked to call Jasper police or the Walker County Sheriff's deputies.
