SCLC upset over loss of services at Cooper Green

The local chapter of the SCLC says it is not happy with inpatient services closing down at Cooper Green Hospital. They gathered on the steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse to ask that an injunction be filed to stop the closing of inpatient care and the firing of employees.

Leaders of the group also say that lawyers representing the director and employees call for an investigation.

The group says other probable actions and protests will be coming.
