Two arrested in connection to Bessemer robbery

The Bessemer Police Department says they have arrested two suspects in connection to a robbery.

22-year-old Gregory Kent Miller Jr. and a juvenile are charged with first degree robbery for an incident on December 22nd.

According to officers, a victim on Borah Avenue had an item taken from her. As she attempted to retrieve it, the suspects pulled a gun and fired a round into the air. They then fled the scene in a blue Cadillac before an officer spotted them traveling east on Highway 150. After getting the vehicle to pull over, the suspects were taken into custody.

Bond has been set for both suspects at $60,000.
