TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -
In Tuscaloosa County, lightning and strong wind combined with heavy rain made for a rough Christmas night.
Tuscaloosa County EMA director David Hartin says only minor damage occurred under the severe thunderstorm watch.
There were two reports of trees down, one apartment complex with a possible lightning strike and a couple of areas with some flooding. However, Hartin cautions there could be more.
He advises those who must go out today to give yourself plenty of time to get to your destinations because there may trees down that have not been reported.
