Walker County accident leaves one man dead

Alabama State Troopers are investigating an accident in Walker County that killed one man. Troopers were called out at 4:30 a.m Saturday, Dec. 29 to a scene on I-22 just south of Jasper.

Troopers say 44-year-old Michael Roberson of Birmingham was hit and killed by a 2001 Mack truck. The truck driver was from Aberdeen, Miss. and was not injured in the collision.

The accident is still under investigation.
