The suspect in the standoff surrendered to police after officers surrounded the home where he was located. Source: WBRC videoA standoff stemming from a shooting in west Birmingham ended peacefully Saturday afternoon.
Birmingham Police Sergeant Tim McCord said three to four men inside a car fired shots into three different locations Saturday in the West End area.
One of the men fled to a home on 2nd Court West. It is believed a family member of one of the men lived there.
Police officers surrounded the home, then the suspect gave up and surrendered himself outside. No one was injured.
Sgt. McCord said all of the men could face charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle, along with several other charges.
