ETOWAH COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Alabama State Troopers are investigating a deadly accident in Etowah County.

James C. Cleveland, a 50-year-old man from Cleveland, was killed in a single-vehicle wreck around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. 

Troopers say Cleveland was traveling on Alabama 132 in a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette when he crashed about one mile east of Altoona.

He was prounced dead on the scene.
