School security discussed in Etowah County

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Protecting students was the focus of a meeting in Etowah County on Wednesday.

Members of a task force on school security met to discuss their future priorities. They are working to complete an evaluation of school security and present a plan of action to the county commission and lawmakers.

The task force meets again later this month.
