TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says they have arrested a 17-year-old male for two counts of first degree robbery.

17-year-old Ladarius Devontae Stewart is facing 2 counts of 1st degree robbery and will be charged as an adult. Police say the charges stem from a robbery that occurred on December 17 when two victims reported that they had been approached by the suspect who had demanded money from them at gunpoint.

Stewart was arrested on Monday in the 2600 block of 22nd Street. He is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $180,000 bond.
