Birmingham police are looking for a female driver who they say struck a garbage truck worker just after 7:00. a.m. Thursday.
The man's supervisor says the truck was stopped on Sun Valley Road and the worker was crossing the street to get the trash and a woman in a burgundy Chevy Tahoe hit him and kept driving.
The victim was taken to UAB Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
