A Gadsden man who admitted to killing his mother after a fight over money was sentenced today to 119 years in prison.
In November 2012, Justin Blaine Denson pleaded guilty to killing his mother, Nita Gay Denson, and fraudulently using her credit cards.
Investigators believe Denson killed his mother in 2009 when she threatened to cut him off financially.
Denson was arrested in Tennessee, two months after the death, after authorities followed a trail of activity on her credit cards.
