Body found behind church in Henry County

A private investigator who was tasked with locating a missing woman from Eufaula has discovered a body behind a church in Henry County.

There is no confirmation on an identity or if the body belongs the to  missing Eufaula resident.

Henry County Sheriff William Maddox says the body was found by the private investigator as he was traveling down Hwy. 95 in the county. The remains were found behind New Hope II Missionary Baptist Church.

The Dothan Police Department Crime Scene Unit is on the scene helping with the investigation.
