GARDENDALE, AL (WBRC) -

Gardendale police say that they are investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon but have not released many additional details.

Reporter Christy Hutchings says that police officers have blocked off Country Meadow Drive, which is in a residential area behind the Jack's restaurant on Mt. Olive Road.

Reporter Vanessa Araiza is currently at the Gardendale Police Department working to gather more details.
