Absolutely Alabama: Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge

One of the rarest opportunities in nature is the sight of a whooping crane in the wild.

This weekend residents have the chance to see one of these endangered animals, along with more than 11,000 other birds like sand hill cranes, geese, raptors and maybe even a bald eagle.

Fred Hunter takes us all to Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge where one can spend a moment appreciating what nature has to offer in a setting which is Absolutely Alabama.
