A Homewood pizzeria is scheduled to reopen this morning, after tragedy struck its owner.
In early December, authorities say Dave Morrison and his 96-year-old mother were found shot to death at their Vestavia Hill's home. Police classified the deaths as a murder-suicide.
Morrison was the owner of Dave's Pizza in Homewood. At 11 a.m. on Monday morning, Morrison's son Brett will re-open the business.
On the restaurant's Facebook page, Morrison says he has spent the past few weeks cleaning and handling repairs around the restaurant.
