Tuscaloosa EMA closes some roads due to weather

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Deputy Director of the Tuscaloosa County EMA Billy Green tells FOX6 News that authorities have closed several local roads due to heavy rains.

Please use caution and alternate routes where available.

Fosters Loop Road is closed between Barnes Farm Road and Cypress Creek Road due to rising water.
Whitfield Road closed due to rising water.
Commerce Road closed at the Big Creek Bridge, which is located closer to the Joe Mallisham Parkway end of Commerce.
Riverbend Road near Moundville is closed this morning due to high water.
Old Fayette Road from intersection of Brady Montgomery Road to Traweek Road.
Harless Road at intersection of Old Fayette Road.
South Sandy Road closed at Big Sandy Creek.
