Source: WBRC videoSo far, Birmingham and Jefferson County has not been hit with serious flooding problems even as rain continues to fall in the area.
Jefferson County Emergency Management Director Allen Kniphfer says people should remain cautious. Knipher says the county has taken steps through its storm water prevent flooding as in the past.
Some parts of north Alabama did experience heavy flooding today, prompting officials to close roads in at least five counties.
Temperatures
are expected to drop further in the next few days, bringing the
possibility of snow in some areas. FOX6 weather expert Tim Coleman says
the biggest chance for snow in our area will be between 5 a.m. and 1
