ORIGINAL STORY: Police are looking for a woman reported missing for several days in Talladega.
Talladega Police Chief Alan Watson says 45-year-old Kathy Mae Lynn is a 5'0', 100 pound woman with blue eyes and brown hair. Lynn's husband told police he last saw her at their home on 19th Street in Talladega on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. She was last seen wearing a tan blouse and black jogging pants.
Police have confirmed that Lynn went to a doctor's office in Pell City on Jan. 8. They say she left the office on foot and is not believed to be driving her own car. Chief Watson said Lynn's husband filed a missing persons report on Jan. 10.
Police say Lynn needs regular medication, but did not specify what kind. They have asked pharmacies in east Alabama to keep an eye out for her. Chief Watson said she has family members in Gadsden, but they have not reported having any contact with Lynn.
The police chief says they are trying to track Lynn through her cell phone and credit card activity, but haven't had any new leads.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Talladega Police Department at 256-362-4508 during office hours or 256-362-4162 anytime.
