1 killed, 2 injured in Shelby County wreck

ALABASTER, AL (WBRC) -

The Alabama Department of Safety says a Columbiana woman was killed on Wednesday after being involved in a 2-vehicle accident in Alabaster.

Troopers say 39-year-Karen M. Lewis was killed while traveling in a 2004 Ford Escape on County Road 26 around 11:20 a.m. A juvenile passenger in the same vehicle was injured and taken to UAB Hospital.

The other vehicle, a 1996 Ford Explorer, was driven by 21-year-old Drew Graham. Graham was also injured and taken to UAB Hospital.
