Birmingham police bust illegal strip club

Birmingham police say they have arrested several suspects connected to an illegal strip club.

The operation took place Jan. 16 in the 1700 block of 3rd Avenue West. During the sting officers found illegal drugs and nude dancers.

Officers arrested the club operator and that person is charged with doing business without a license and unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers took marijuana, a rifle and a handgun from the operator.

In addition, 13 dancers have been arrested and charged wtih doing business without a license. One patrol was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana.
