BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Birmingham Police detectives are investigating a Sunday morning homicide.
East precinct officers responded to a report of a person shot at 9113 14th Avenue North. When they arrived just before 10 a.m., they found a male victim lying in the grass with an appearent gunshot wound.
Paramedics were called and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The victims identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified. Police say the victim is an adult black male.
