Last week, the commission offered up a new map, redrawing boundaries. The new plan seeks to put 131,000 voters in each of the five county commission districts.
Today, commissioners George Bowman and Sandra Little Brown say they're united about addressing some of the concerns they have about those new boundaries.
"There is not a rift between Commissioner Brown and myself. We are not in a food fight over precincts in Jefferson County," Bowman said.
But both commissioners want changes to the new map which would restore many of the old district lines. A public hearing over the proposed Jefferson County commission district lines will be February 14.
