MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL (WBRC) -

A car crash in Mountain Brook claimed the life of a 25-year-old man early Wednesday morning.

The Jefferson County coroner's office identifies the victim as William Bradford Kent. The coroner's office says he was driving on Old Leeds Road in Mountain Brook when his vehicle left the road and hit a tree.

The wreck happened around 3 a.m. Jan. 23.
