I think that people should not call people at home to ask for money. And like the president said, we should make up our own mind who we would like to donate to because it's up to us anyway... So I hope one day people will stop calling even me when I'm trying to eat my dinner.

I had a call just a couple of days ago thanking me for my last year's contribution to the Humane Society of America which I never donated to that. I told them and asked them to take me off their list and they hung up.

I got scammed like that before. Someone called posing as a volunteer trying to get me saying they needed donations and stuff. They wanted my address and stuff and wanted me to send them a $200 check in the mail for some money. I found out that they were not local and they tried to scam me out of my money.
