Officers on scene of the wreck. Source: WBRC videoJefferson County deputies say that several teens suffered injuries in a car crash that happened Friday evening along Trussvill-Clay Road.
Deputies say they were called to the scene of an accident in the 6700 block of Trussville-Clay Road Friday arouind 5:15 p.m. They that a 17-year-old driver lost control of a 2002 Ford Escape, left the road and stuck a large rock in an adjacent ditch.
The driver suffered minor injuries but her passengers, ages 20, 18, 15 and 16, suffered serious injuries. All five people have been taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
