Portion of Ala. Hwy 25 closed to repair water main

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office says that they will partially close a portion of Alabama Highway 25 while workers repair a damaged water main.

Deputies will direct traffic between the intersections of Shelby County highways 73 and 8 where they intersect with Highway 25. They say they will have to close the roadway at times and when possible will allow one lane of traffic.

The repairs are expected to take five to six hours and the roadway should be open for the morning commute.
