One unit damaged in morning apartment fire

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Birmingham Fire and Rescue were able to put out an early morning fire at an apartment complex on Friday morning.

The fire happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of McMillan Avenue. Crews say there were no injuries at the homeowner was not home.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
