PELL CITY, AL (WBRC) -

The state of Pell City's water has not seemed to change in the past year. That is what residents said at a meeting with city leaders Tuesday night.

They say problems with the water range from discoloration to a bad odor. The city says it is working on the issues and it has gotten better. One woman disagrees and questions whether the water is safe.

"I really haven't seen any improvement and I'm not going to drink that water. I don't think it's fit to drink. I wish they would resolve it or something," said resident Ella Terrell.

"The large part of the problem is we haven't got inside the homes and this week we want to get inside and actually investigate what the specific problem may be," said City Manager Patrick Draper.

If you live in Pell City and still have water issues, city leaders ask that you call the city hall to schedule an inspector to come to your house.
