The Chilton County Sheriff's Office says pieces of a meth lab were found by the road on Saturday, Feb. 2.
According to deputies, an observant citizen noticed a suspicious bag on County Road 346 in the Fairview community. An investigation into the contents of the bad found that it contained numerous meth lab components.
The items were seized and processed per OSHA guidelines for clandestine lab waste disposal. The sheriff's office thanked the public on their Facebook page for "being vigilant" and helping them combat the continuing problem of meth.
