BIRMINGHAM,AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Police were called out around 5 p.m. this evening to the BJCC on a suspicious package. The package was found near the east ballroom entrance.
Police blocked off the area and called in a bomb scene specialist who later determined the package was a briefcase full of paper and not a bomb.
