Bessemer man charged with attempted murder

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Bessemer police charged a man with attempted murder on Tuesday morning.

Officers say 39-year-old Darryll Lamote Cole stabbed a man. It happened last Saturday morning in the 2400 block of Clarendon Avenue. Officers say Cole was robbing the man.

The 25-year-old victim is recovering in the hospital.
