FOX6 News spoke with Cullman County school officials Friday about how they plan to make schools safer.
Superintendent Billy Coleman says that bullet proof windows will be installed at all of the county's schools. In addition, technology department officials are improving an existing internal communicaiton system to speed up alerts if there is a threat at or near a school.
