Birmingham Police investigate a shooting in Wylam

Birmingham Police are investigating a shooting in Wylam.  Police responded around 7:50 p.m. on Sunday night on the call of a man found shot inside of a car in the parking lot of Rod's Store at 4529 7th Avenue. 

When police arrived on the scene, they found the victim had been shot multiple times.  Police are saying the shooting happened at a different location and the victim drove to the parking lot of the store.  The shooting is under investigation.

No one is in custody and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
